Historical place Ujjain escorted by MAHALOK act as economy boost for the MP tourism , With tribute to Modi bhakt . On Tuesday pm Narendra Modi inaugurated the first phase of rupees 850 crore Mahakaleshwar temple development project in Ujjain Madhya Pradesh .After Kashi Vishwanath, Kedarnath, Somnath ,The new makeover of Mahakal jyotirlinga was marked as the devotee bulletic moment .

Mahakaleshwar jyotirlinga history

The temple is believed to be built in the 6th century AD by Kumarasena, the son of a former king of Ujjain Chandpradyot. In year  1234  contemporaneous Sultan Shamsuddin ,The slave of Qutbuddin Aibak demolish the temple . Later on in year 1734 during the Maratha rule of Bajirao 1 his general Sahnoji Shinde, the founder of sindhiya ruler had reconstructed the temple .

General facts about the temple :-

1.Mahakal is marked as one of shiv devoted temple

2. There are  12 Jyotirlinga and 18 Maha shaktipeeth in India and Mahakal is one of them .

3. Mahakaleshwar, means the lord of time . According to Hindu mythology , The lord shiva  is among the three trinity that is Brahma , Vishnu, Maheshwar . Another name of shiv is Maheshwar .The place where shiv is worshiped is known as "Great Maheshwar" or "Mahakaleshwar" .

4. Another mythology suggest that the Mahakaleshwar temple was build by the Lord Brahma.

5. The temple arti is known as "BHASMA ARTI"  which is usually done on daily basis .

The ethical composition of India reveals  that  70% of country population are Hindu. Keeping in mind the government are initiative to make up all the historical temple which are swaddled in frightened drift in the middle of Vedic chants. Beside religious customs the Mahakal Lok will promote tourism in hand with  generating employment opportunity to its residence, will also provide livelihood opportunity to its city people .
